Christmas

Christmas at the club starts early with charity cards being available to buy at the October and November talks.  Our chosen charities vary, with St. Leonard’s and Martin House Hospices and York Against Cancer being supported latterly.

On arrival at our December meeting, complimentary wine or soft drinks, with scrummy mince pies, are on offer but remember to bring your wallet to this one, as Brunswick Organic Nursery https://www.brunswickyork.org.uk attends with handmade seasonal floral arrangements and wreaths, all available to buy.

We also hold our mammoth Christmas raffle, all prizes being donated, with the pre-Covid proceeds being shared between Perennial https://perennial.org.uk/ and Horticap https://www.horticap.org
